  Beta Alpha Psi Hosts Recruiters

Sam Houston State University ’s Kappa Mu Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi held its 2006 Meet the Firms night on Monday October 2, 2006. 

This annual event allows accounting and finance students of the College of Business Administration the opportunity to learn about employment and internship opportunities within the financial information profession. In addition to Meet the Firms, the chapter invites company representatives to weekly meetings throughout the academic year.

Previous chapter events have attracted representatives from organizations such as Axley & Rode LLP, BDO Seidman LLP, Beaird Harris & Company, BKD, Briggs & Veselka, CenterPoint Energy, Easley Endres Parkhill & Brackendorff, Ernst & Young, the FDIC,Grant Thornton, Harper & Pearson, the IRS, Melton & Melton, Null Lairson, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, the Dow Chemical Company, Devon Energy, Deloitte & Touche, and the Criminal Investigation Division of the IRS.

Beta Alpha Psi is a national scholastic and professional society for financial information professionals. The organization encourages and provides recognition for scholastic and professional excellence in the business information field, including the promotion and practice of accounting, finance and information systems.
