On September 25 hundreds of students tested the employment waters and navigated the recruiting booths at the Department of Accounting's 11th Meet the Firms Night.
Sponsored by the Department of Accounting at Sam Houston State University and coordinated by SHSU's chapter of Beta Alpha Psi, this annual recruiting event provides a great opportunity for students majoring in financial information disciplines to network with representatives from some of the best employers in the nation and the region.
More than 200 accounting majors and finance students met with company representatives to learn about job opportunities and internships, to distribute their resumes, and to begin the employment process.
An impressive list of employers, a terrific student turnout, and excellent effort on the part of Beta Alpha Psi made the 2007 Meet the Firms Night the best one yet!
