Charles W. Jones III '81, newly-appointed member of the College of Business Administration's Advisory Council, recently helped ring the closing bell of the New York Stock Exchange in a ceremony marking Westcorp Inc.'s tenth anniversary.
Charles participated in Wall Street's time-honored tradition as the representative of WFS Financial, a principal subsidiary of Westcorp. The event included a tour of the New York Stock Exchange and a reception held prior to the 4:00pm closing bell. During the ceremony Charles received a commemorative medallion from NYSE officials and Westcorp's chairman, Mr. Ernest Rady, was presented with the gavel.
